![]() You probably won't get the manufacture date, even though they say you will, but the date sold to a distributor, and who that was. If you really really want to know, you might give Browning a call, they might tell you over the phone, or pay the $40 (I remember it being more than that, so you should probably call before submitting) for a historical letter. The T Series was made, it is estimated, through the early '70s, possibly as late as '74 or '75, along with the C Series. Browning has been contacted multiple times about this, but they don't seem to care. Your serial number is legit, the Browning list is woefully incomplete. FN (the actual manufacturer) wasn't much concerned with serial numbers, so the Browning site information regarding serial numbers is more of a guide than anything else. The T Series Hi Power numbers go much higher than they indicate, as yours is evidence. ![]()
